UX/UI Design Contributions at Consenz

Duration: August 2022 – March 2023

Consenz is a pioneering technology company dedicated to enhancing road safety with its innovative Head-up Display (HUD) system. This retrofittable HUD features an AI driver assistant named Enzo, enabling hands-free management of navigation, calls, and messages while keeping drivers focused on the road.

As a UX/UI Designer at Consenz, I contributed to the development of user-centric solutions for advanced driver assistance systems. My work focused on enhancing the usability and safety of Head-Up Display (HUD) systems, ensuring seamless and intuitive driver interactions.

Key Project: Enzo HUD

Objective
To optimise driver interaction with navigation and communication features while minimising distractions.

Responsibilities:

Design Process - User-Centred Approach
  1. User Research: Conducted interviews and surveys to gather insights into user behaviours and preferences.
  2. Prototyping: Developed wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma for early-stage testing.
  3. Usability Testing: Facilitated multiple test cycles, iterating on designs based on user feedback to improve functionality and user satisfaction.
Solutions and Results

To address the challenge of balancing information delivery with minimal cognitive distraction, I conducted heuristic evaluations to identify usability issues early. I then iteratively refined the HUD interface, reducing cognitive load while ensuring essential information was presented effectively.
